The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly especially Brian. When I called I spoke with him and he explained everything giving me the cost of the procedures. There were no hidden charges, in fact when I got there they gave me a discount because of a special they were running in Jun. As soon as my dog came out of anesthesia, they called and let me know how he was doing.
When I went and picked him up they told me what a sweet dog I had and he loved to be held. Brian said he would go and just snuggle him. I appreciate the personal touch they provided.Added February 20, 2017 by VICKI FRAMPTON - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
Absolutely disgusted that a veterinarian, a person who dedicates everyday to helping animals, could even treat me or my dog with the most disrespect. I was attacked with how I should be raising my puppy. She approached my puppy in the most unsubtle way and was mad that my puppy LOOKED scared. She told me if I didn't pay for an 8 week training My dog would start biting people. Dogs react to people by their energy and the way they approach them. If my dog is shaking in terror (which she has never done before) with her tail between her legs and ears back then i know she wasn't comfortable at all with dr ford. I don't care what education she got that doesn't have anything against a pets owner. At the end of the Visit she could tell that I wasn't all for her training plan and stormed out of the room saying she was trying to help my puppy. I was left not even knowing if my puppy was healthy because she was more concerned about letting me know every decision I've made for my puppy is horrible. I know what my puppy needs and what works for her. Not only was I mistreated but so was my dog and I will never go there again.

Our cat was very sick and our original vet acted like it was no big deal and tried to put us out a month and a half. I called Quail point and they were willing to get me in same day and do dental the next day if that's what she needed (we knew it was what she needed). We took her in and everyone was very kind and professional and they did her surgery next day as promised. They gave us an upfront quote even for worse case scenario. She didn't need everything done that they quoted so when we went to pick her up they lowered the price!! Amazing! I will be taking my dog here from now on as well! Thank you!

Horrible service. They misdiagnosed our kitty saying she had fallen out of a tree. They didn't check for any injury they only took her temperature and gave us pain meds. I took her to a second vet 2 hours later. They found that she had been attacked by a dog. They found 3 puncture wounds that quail cove failed to find since they didn't even touch her. Also the medication that they gave us is not recommended for cats and the dose they gave her was so small it wouldn't help with her pain at all. Please do not take you animals here. It is a very bad place.

Was looking for education on vaccinations, felt very uncomfortable for asking them (like how dare you question me). They even tried to give me copy of the laws, that said nothing about what they claimed (specifically 1 year rabies shot requirement), it referenced other laws that I researched and still found nothing? Everyone was very rehearsed on what the law was, just seems like no one has ever researched it for themselves. I was not questioning them, more wanting a understanding of the laws to ensure I comply with them. I guess were all conditioned like Pavlov's dog and we just salivate what ever we have been told. I spent some time reading Utah Law and County Board of Health Laws, I still have found no law that Veterinarians are required to vaccinate for rabies every year in the state of Utah? Anyone that can find it please let me know, at the very least to educate the workers at quail pointe veterinary hospital where the law is, so if they get questioned in the future that can point individuals directly to the law.
